Why the hell can’t people say specific instead of pacific?
Do they have a speech impediment or are they just stupid?
Do they not realise that when they say “to be pacific” they are saying they want to be an ocean.
I wonder if they say peed when talking about how fast their car can go?
god yes, ‘pacific’ for ‘specific’ joins a long long list of mispronouncements. it’s always a personal dilemma whether to arrogantly correct people…
another of my pissedoffedness’ is apostrophes in the wrong place. potatoe’s?? tomatoe’s??? p-lease. and as for ‘it’s’ when being used as the possessive – get a life!!!
